The notes application on one's phone can be the most intimate insight into a person's thoughts. Recently i took an afternoon to go through my notes and unraveled a diary of the last 5 years. Below is a selection of those diary fragments, those that tell me something i still need to hear.
‘Outside history man is a nonentity’
-we make ourselves entities through conceiving a reality (an intrinsically human existence)
-is reality a process?
Fascism wants to look to the past, has its own radical vision that looks to the future (alternative modernity)
A burst of energy
Shows me where I’m meant to be
I’m certain in my uncertainty
I lie awake while participating in a dream
I know not of reality,
But of partiality
The rise of the creative class
Have 15 minutes of actual song and 15 of the inbetween bits
Concept- have 15 mins in total, freestyle collectively to the sounds, ideas, words that lead one to the next, 3 mins of jam (various stages of) each one representing a songs between songs (the in-betweens)

Kobena Mercer-welcome to the jungle
Coco fusco - the bodies that were notated
Stringing all the stages into one continuous narrative
A family with 4 children go and stay at a hotel in London. Big week away.
It gets to night time and one at a time the children go missing. It turns out they’re being stolen by giants who are having a food convention, they are using the children to make meatballs. One of the children giants take pity on the children and makes friends with them. Together they come up with an escape plan.
(The owner of the hotel is half giant) - which is why he allows the convention to be held there, but he’s under the impression no children will be taken.
Is a black hole deforming or reforming spacetime?
Is there a body that exists that does not absorb or reflect electromagnetic energy- but just perpetuates (or allows for) it’s existence?
In the equation for baryon number we are only able to measure the most stable particles (protons/ neutrons). Perhaps anti-matter is made up of less stable particles, leads to precarious measurements
How can the stability of a particle be altered?
What would happen if anti-matter was more dominant than matter?
Chapter one is the theoretical framework that outlines the way in which the thesis is going to be framed (negation of power etc)- essentially a method
Theoretical framework is cultural studies and how the negation of power between British society and blackness is negotiated

The social and political circumstances that provoked creative resilience.
We only exist as ourself in relation to others
Struggle is framed in the framework of capitalism , whereby freedom is achievable and complete
The potential collectivity of organisation. As opposed to masculinised individual charismatic.
Inclusion without justice isn’t progressive.
To include those in a system of oppression is not progression.
Black studies should be about transformation and knowledge.
Production of knowledge outside the university is meaningful
Creativity is what you make it. It’s a way in which exist through expression, to express through creation, to create through vision.
Let us lead, how we wish to be followed.
